Sampler
Our HDPE sludge sampler is similar
to our plastic coliwasa, except the valve assembly is attached to the
pull line rod with a length of poly line. This modification gives the
operator the ability to push the poly tube into the sludge to be
sampled without the valve interfering with the sample extraction.
Once the sample is inside the tube, the operator pulls up on the pull rod which in turns pulls the valve into the tube assembly, locking the sample in place. The sample is released by pushing down on the pull rod.
